Zones 4 and 5 in NAD83(CSRS)v6
MTM NS 2010 uses NAD83(CSRS)v6 at epoch 2010.0, with zone 4 registered as EPSG:8082 and zone 5 as EPSG:8083. Their central meridians are 61°30′ W and 64°30′ W. The false eastings are 24,500,000 m and 25,500,000 m.
Keep the full easting prefix. At NSCM 210111, Ketch Harbour, the published zone 5 values are E = 25575120.413 m and N = 4928410.503 m. This converter expects easting before northing, even when a station report lists northing first.
Different prefixes identify different systems
ATS77 uses eastings around 4.5 or 5.5 million; the older NAD83(CSRS) epoch 1997.0 layout uses 14.5 or 15.5 million. Removing 20 million from a 2010 easting does not perform the datum transformation. Select the actual system recorded in the survey.
The MTM projection is checked against published NSCRS monuments to below 1 mm. Conversion to the generic WGS84 GPS output uses a 2 m datum approximation; no velocity or epoch propagation is applied.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the easting about 25 million metres?
Nova Scotia includes a datum and zone prefix in the false easting. Keep it intact so the numbers identify the intended MTM NS 2010 zone.
